Data on this site is compiled from a variety of public sources as well as visitors who have registered accounts on the site. The public sources that were used for the initial data set include the Brewers Association directory for many of the breweries in the United States and Canada; the quaffale.org.uk web site for many of the breweries in the United Kingdom; and various regional brewers guilds.
As you are likely aware, the brewing industry is volatile and breweries open, move, change ownership, suspend operations, or outright close on a regular basis. As such, it is nearly impossible to keep an accurate track of every brewery, and we rely on our registered users to keep the database up-to-date. However, this information is not maintained in a real time fashion and it can take a while before updates are made.
Before visiting any of the breweries found on this site, you should contact the brewery directly to verify their status, location, and business hours. If you find any information on this site that is incorrect, we encourage you to update it, or if you do not feel comfortable in creating an account on the site to make such updates, to contact us and provide us with the updated information.
